Paper Flowers
Okay, I (kelai) have felt really guilty that she hasn't been on FFF.net for a damn long while. SO here you go. My returnning piece. My muse finally returned to me so now I can do more than airbrushing + colourizing wolves and pasting on text. I was watching Serenity (again) and and idea popped in my head. And so I used it to create this 'imaginary' piece (= It's a dreamy River piece. Which is self-explanitory, modeled off of a few lines in the song Imaginary. See the field of paper flowers? I little piece I put together. The song is "Dirty Little Secret" by Sarah McLachlan modified by me to fit the characters. My friend suggested that maybe Zoe had some regrets about bringing Wash on the mission, but also realizing that thier time together was not an illusion. Poor Washie. No way to bring him back. for now.


Serenity Chibi Wallpaper
Here is the Big Damn Hero Zwinky Chibi wallpaper. Made with the Zwinky and modified in photoshop. I was going to put guns, tools, ice planets in thier hands but my pen tool skills suck. By now you're probably wondering "WTF there's only eight wheres Book?" Trust me, you should be glad I didn't put Book on there. It was hideous -- everything /but/ the hair. I like Mal, Inara, Wash, Jayne, and River the best. Zoe's hair is wrong but it looked even worse when I toyed around with the pen tool. So I guess it works for now. I love Jayne's hat, I modified the colours. Kaylee looks a bit off too. And Simon doesn't really look like Simon -- though I knew I had to use the Simon wardrobe from OiS -- no, I don't mean shirtless (might do that sometime though!) but at the beginning when he's with Kaylee on the couch. Alan Tudyk (aka my Washie) in Ice Age II: The Meltdown. He is a chalicothere Cholly, who was around during the days of the flooding of the valleys where the animals lived. He was noted for eating foods that gave him flatulence of an unpleasant sort, and letting it loose directly in front of Sid the sloth's face. I can't believe I forgot to upload this... I really like the way my first Serenity//Firefly portrait turned out; I'm starting to do cartoon-typres though I can't seem to get their faces right in cartoon. It's of River at the end of teh movie. I used the real picture and one of MPhillips drawings as a reference ;)
