Just got these logos for the sides of my car. I've had the firefly one for a few days, the serenity one for a month or two.

I was only recently introduced to the shiny world of Firefly and Serenity - odd, since I'm also a big fan of BtVS and marvel at the stylish genius that is Joss Whedon - but I must say that is one cool car. My last big fandom was X-Files - in fact, we have met; yes, I'm *that* X-Lydia!

I met a guy at the mall by my school a few months ago, he had a little booth, and could do simple designs (Like my Serenity one).

Then the other day when I was in the mall by my house (About 30 miles from my school) I saw he was set up there. He has MUCH better equipment now, but since I was in a hurry I just got the simple Firefly one.

He told me he could now put any image on a bumper sticker. I was afraid he wouldn't make this cuz it's copy writen, but he was real cool about it. So I brougt him a cd with the logo on it to him and he messed with it in photoshop (To outline it and remove the black background.)

I got 'em 9 inches long from the S to the Y. It all took about 20 minutes from the time I got there to the time I left. They cost me 1 dollar an inch, for him to photoshop it and everything.

This guy rocks, no doubt!

My car is my Serenity.

With the taped up mirror and missing hub cap it's sorta my Firefly too!

Hehe, I really don't know when that hub cap fell off.

Come Ye Back
I haven't posted it the BSR in ages, but this popped into my head so I threw it together and thought I'd share.

It was inspired by a line from the Irish song Danny Boy. "But come ye back, when summer's in the meadow."

I still can't find the gag reel from the Serenity dvd. Some nice folks have hooked me up with the region 4 stuff and the Firefly gag reel. But I just can't find the Serenity gag reel, if anyone has it can they send it my way. If anyone can, could they post it on http://www.megaupload.com/ and send me the url. Thanks peoples!

Well, we all know how that went.
 
I was at the hotel Thursday morning for a staff meeting. About an hour or two after the meeting was 'pose to start, we got word around 12:00 am that yes the con was still on and all the guests were coming. But we had to wait 12 hours for one of the BE owners to drive to the hotel. I said "Screw it" and went to Disneyland. Rosie called my mom around 6:00 pm and said it was cancelled, figures.
 
I still had so much freaking fun, I'm just soo sorry for those who were in flight when it was cancelled. I hope everyone gets their money back, and I hope everyone who went still had fun.
