Why is October so foul?
Wednesday, October 20, 2004

You know, I can go along an entire year with bad things not happening directly to me, but when it turns to October, my life turnse to go-se.

I have had really bad break-ups, the kind that force you to move out. Double blow outs in the same week. A bad business trip that escalated from 3 days easy time to 10 days of working 20 hours per day. New girls leading me on for a few days before flaking out. whole days spent at MVD for a replacement driver's license. Lost luggage. But this year's is worse than the past 3.

My grandmother has been in the hospital for 2 weeks because the cancer that they thought they had gotten has gotten into her brain making her forget and making her hallucinate, and she's got a blood clot from her shin up into her thigh. My parents had cancer burned off of them, My cat died. I am completely out of cash, until the 29th, meaning that I can't even afford gas unless I sell something, and forget about buying food. Luckily I have some food at my house.

I've gone stag to several weddings in October only to find out that no single females were invited. which is only a minor annoyance.

My birthday was yesterday. I spent it alone, because everyone else was busy. And when I came in to work today, I got busted on things that are not my fault and out of my control.

The only bright point lately was that the Farscape mini series was on and it was so good.

Not that anyone gives a carp, but I had to blow off some anger at October.

Chin up Zark. Things will get better. Things don't stay bad forever, and they will turn around for you.

I know all about bad luck, and could tell you stories that would make yours seem cheery in comparison, but I would rather not tie up bandwith w/ them.

Just remember, you're still flyin'. They may not be much, but it's something.

Hey, I give a carp. And a bass, too. ;) Never fear, things will turn around. Or maybe never change your calendars to October ever again. Just go from Sept. to Nov.

Happy Birthday. Maybe November will be better. It seems like everyones having a crappy month for some reason. I think you get the prize, though (don't ask me what it is). When things are pissing me off, I put on my fuzzy socks and watch Firefly. Ahhh, bliss. Anyway, I missed Farscape, was it any good?

Happy Birthday Zark!

Don't let it get you down. I lost my grandmother this year too. It sucks beyond the telling of it. My only consolation is that now she's at peace and not all freaked out like she was in the end.

If you can think of her getting respite from her terrible affliction, it might help you get through it a bit easier.

Take care! *hug*

WOW Zark, that sucks. I'm sorry. Happy birthday little a late. I spent my birthday alone also, that was more of a choice though. I haven't felt up to celebrating. On the bright side you're not 30 yet. Seems we have the wedding problems in common execpt I got a date who blew me off then had two guys from the wedding hitting on me.
Message me sometime if you need to talk.

Hey Zark, for what it's worth: HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!

What I do when everything sucks, I just log onto FFF.net and the people here do their best to cheer me up. I love this community for that. When no one else gives a gorram, find a Browncoat.
