I am such a chicken.

Asked a friend that used to be stationed here with her hubby what she thought about the shindig I'd love to set up and if I should go talk to any of the Project Rudolph people?? (as its supposed to be a charity event up at the LRMC and I am a local national with no ties to the military, so I will need all the help I can get dealing with the brass)
Yes, she said, go ahead.
So I wrote a message to the founder of Project Rudolph.

Chickened out at the last minute and sent it to my friend for proofreading first...

Haven't heard back yet....

Sigh.....

I wonder if I'll ever get this thing going, chicken that I am....

they are doing a wonderful job of bringing some badly needed christmas cheer to deployed soldiers. PR needs some letters from adults to put in the giftbaggies, guidelines on the site.

they are there for the wounded soldiers up at the military hospital.

I am in no way affiliated with them, I just want to help spread the word and thank them that way for all they do for the troops.

She does look a little like a chickie. or maybe a cross between a lightning bug and a chickie, which I think was intended.

And she earned getting on that list, because she is indeed cool. shiny, actually.
