It's bloody bitter out there at the moment. However, that hasn't stopped me from honing my photography skills.

Thanks for the kind feedback Bytemite, GillianRose, Angellemarcs and Gilove2Dance.

I agree about the remark on nature photography, and how it tells a story.

I use a Nikon D60 SLR camera for all my pictures. It's an entry level camera, but it does well.

All pictures are shot on manaual settings, (with no active d lighting or flash mode.)

No photoshop and/or colour filters used. These shots were taken between 3-4pm, in fading natural light.

Very nice! I was thinking about this walking in to work today, noticing the frost on theedges of the long, wet, half-matted-down grass and brown leaves by the sidewalk and thinking it looked surprisingly beautiful.

I especially like the layers of leaves and all the detail in your second pic, but both are pretty. Thanks for posting!
