Yes, I got your intention Angellemarcs. It's a shame differences over what Fan Fiction means for other people, and the idea of OCs in general, can't be discussed though, because I think it would be really interesting. I wonder if it isn't a little disingenuous for any of us to say that Fan Fiction is 'just fun' (or any variant of that) because otherwise we wouldn't feel as strongly about it, and the characters involved, as we do. For all the people who write here, it does mean more to us than that, I think. And yes, sometimes people post things that, from my Fan Fic point of view I find hard to understand or enjoy. Sometimes it even feels that there are distinct 'camps' that co-exist without really overlapping. Maybe that's for the best, but some discussion between the camps might be - well, I've said it, interesting.

Then again, perhaps the whole 'camps' thing is only my perception. Or, even if there is some substance to that feeling, it doesn't matter, as long as the co-existence is a happy one - whatever we might think in private. *crawls off to write another chapter*

This was not to add to the mess, but to add an apology to anyone that had hurt feelings. Kind of like an..."Let's just all get along."

Yes, agreed, now let's please let this drop. I know we all still have things to say, but continuing to post about it could start another flamewar, and I didn't find the last one particularly fun.
