Strangely, I can't think today. I've started this twice already and am feeling kind of hollow inside as if my mind was made of air and thoughts are too wispy and transparent to be read regardless of how much I try to grab hold of them.

I woke up early today, passenger of a dream that arrived before it was expected to and for the life of me, I cannot remember any of it. I think I told myself what it was about when I awoke, but it, too has faded...It was vaguely pleasant I think...

Busy at work, answering phones, e-mail. I walked in feeling ok, but hit by sudden anxiety once I sat down and started to work. Strange feelings for me and more so because they're so unexplained... Good thing it's a paperwork kind of day. I might not have been any good at doing real work if I had
to.

I wanted to say something here. I tried yesterday to start this but got interrupted now I've lost the momentum... have to try another approach. Maybe today is for facts and not thoughts...

I bought Megan Slankard's CD Sunday (Freaky Little Story) and listened to it about ten times in the car over the last two days. Great voice, mellow to edgy vocals and neat lyrics. Anyone liking Amiee Mann or Annie DeFranco with a little Alanis thrown in would really do well to hear this CD. She has clips available on her site. Check 'em out.

I first heard of her because she was featured on the TLC show What Not To Wear. Apparently her band volunteered her for the show. I saw this in a hotel room in Montreal and, when they played some of her music, I had to check her out. I'd love to be able to put some of her music in "Annie". I'd also love to be able to tell a great story someday about how I backed into finding great music for the movie that I never expected.

Our message board is up and I'm starting to guide people to the site in order to let them take a look at the ideas we have heading into pre-prod. I need to send e-mails to friends to let them know about the site.

Damn... out of time. Have to finish some work stuff and get out of here to visit a customer... This sure feels like a cotton-candy kinda day. (Empty calories with no mass or content...)

So what the heck kind of song works for today? Hmmm... How about...
