Castle ... looking good!
Saturday, March 7, 2009

I just watched the first act of CASTLE on the ‘abc’ website - http://abc.go.com/primetime/castle/ - and I have to say it looks really good. Now, being English and not getting a stream from the States, I doubt I’ll be seeing much more of it until it is released on DVD (I so hope it doesn’t get cancelled!) or unless someone records it and is kind enough to send me a copy ( very heavy hint here), but if it were on here, I’d be glued to my TV!

So far it’s funny, sexy, well written … and Nathan is great! He can do the suave, the urbane, the childish, often all at the same time, and he looks like he’s having a lot of fun. He also gets the chance to be more thoughtful, and there is terrific chemistry between him and the actress playing his daughter, Molly Quinn.

Please note, I am not getting paid by abc to promote this show …

Castle totally 100% rocks! I love it. We've just started to get S2 (I'm in Australia) and in the Halloween episode Nathan comes out dressed as Mal (but I guess this is old news by now) Totally brilliant show and I'm hooked.

CASTLE is the only show on t.v. that i Look Forward to watching.
Yes, it's via abc.com in HD usually the next day...
I truly feel that Fillion is perfect for the part and that the show works because of one important thing.
Chemistry...between the actors/cast.

I'm also from England and won't be able to watch Castle unless it comes on Sky satelitte. I actually think it will be a hit, Nathan has a great comic touch, his timing is good and he has a very relaxed and easy going style. I have only seen trailers so far and really wish we could get it over here so it is great to have the review. And while Nathan will always be the Captain, he showed a nice gift for comedy in Firefly and Serenity. Fingers crossed it ends up on DVD as well! Ali D :~)

Well, that sucks. I wish you could get a chance to watch it. I would think it will be on Hulu, but I bet you don't get that either. I'll drool a little for you as well. ;)

Jane0904, it premieres tonight and I am so excited!! I can't wait. I have been seeing the previews for the show and I think it is something that should catch on. Very excited. I am sure there will be a plethera of reviews by dedicated Nathan fans come tonight after the show.

Thanks for the review. I haven't seen it yet myself but was sort of waiting to hear some Browncoat feedback before diving in.

I think it may be hard to see Nathan in a different role however. He will always be Mal, but I am glad he found work.

And thank you for the non-proprietary disclaimer.
