Transformers fans stick it to The Man

So, anybody use Wikia?

If so, you've probably noticed the outright deceitful ownership tactics, the ever-increasing adds, and the general Alliance-like behaviour.

Well, we Transfans have had enough, and in true Browncoat fashion, we. . . have run away.

The old Teletraan-1 wiki has now been abandoned (Wikia won't let us delete it, but the only people left there are the trolls, the humourless, and the walking unbanned).

The official Transformers Wiki has moved to http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Main_Page, with new add-free browsing (the adds you see are either jokes or fan-references [like Optimus shilling for Pepsi] or link to sites owned by the wiki's staff/users).

The trouble is that, as I said, wikia won't delete the old site, so we're all putting the word out and hoping that traffic to the new site pushes the oldwiki down off the google list (Google assigns relevance by traffic; popular sites move toward the top of the list, while dead sites move down). This is just me spreading the news.

Feel free to drop by, even if you're not a fan. Part of TFWiki's charm is the humour; we pride ourselves on being funnier than any other wiki out there. Case in point:
