Hello people of the 'verse. Quick, question for you all that attended D*C this year. Did anyone go to the Firefly LARP at the Hilton? I got invited and even walked over there one evening, but then chickened out. (I know, I'm a bad Browncoat!) I wish I would have at least tried to play now. Also, I wanted to apologize to the very nice man (Kevin, if I recall correctly) from the food court who told me all about it. Sorry. Maybe next year?!

not really a LARP person...so no, but hey you didn't chicken out you just chose not to attend due to personal cowardice..just kidding HUGS Mai I'm sure they misssed you but I'd have been a bit weirded out by total strangers and such so I'm sure it was no big:)

I was not there as I live outside of the States and have no money but I have some advice for next year.

Bring a friend if you are worried about being alone.

Remember that all Browncoats are amazingly friendly people. And we all have something in common...we are utterly obsessed with Firefly.

So go up to a person or a group and say, "Hi! I'm Mai and my favorite character/episode/line/pairing is..."

That'll get you comfortable and then you can slip into the LARP mode.

Everyone gets nervous.
