Yesterday, I attended Collectormania Glasgow, at the Braehead Arena.

Basically, I wanted to treat the event like one, big photo shoot - not just a day to meet my idols. It's been a while since I did anything creative.

There were only 14 shots on my camera's internal memory, so I had to make each shot count. An SD card would have used up waaaaaaaaaaaaay too much battery power. The camera gobbles them up like nothing else. :)

Anywho.. Technicalities aside, here are a few shots from the day:

I loved these guys. There were black stormtroopers and even a Jango Fett kicking about on the day.

Original shot. This is my favourite pic from the event.

.. Don't get too close to Lord Vader. I can still picture him walking the floor with armed guard looking ominous and superior.

The original Lord Vader. David Prowse. Wonderful gentleman.. He talked about his body building career, and the secrecy/paranoia that surrounded the original Star Wars trilogy.

Peter Davidson. Doctor Who no.5.

Nic Brendon does the Snoopy Dance. xD

The 'itchy foot' shot. He blamed it on his dog.

Shane Rangi. Stuntman and Nazgul Witch King from LOTR. A very warm, cool guy.. I greeted him in maori, and had a few good conversations over the course of the day.

Who you gonna call? Ernie Hudson. Winston Zedmore from Ghostbusters.

Marina Sirtis aka Councillor Deanna Troi from Star Trek TNG.. A very lovely, chatty woman.

Guests and shenanigans aside, I managed to pick up all three issues of 'Better Days.' Woop! Plus, issue one of the original series. (Still need to snag issue three. They're like gold dust.)

MPhillips.. It's strange to think that Davidson was the youngest Doctor, before Tennant came along.. Dspite looking a bit aged, he was still pretty funny and sharp. A true gentleman too. He turned up a wee bit late on Saturday morning, because of acting duties.

Hi Lissa! Long time no see! Have you heard Oasis's latest material? Totally agree about the X-Man. Nic Brendon was so funny and sweet. I never realised that he had tats on his arm/shoulder. O.O What happened when you met him at D*C?

I never knew that you met peeps linked to Star Trek TNG. They're COOL memories to have.. Who have you met? Marina is the only person who I've met that's linked to that franchise... **Blush.** I was a wee bit stunned to hear Marina talk. She has a cockny accent! O.O Took me by surprise.

Dun.. Yeah.. This past week has been a bit nutty for encounters.. Collectormania had always been on the cards. I'm still figuring out if this one was better than last year's. Looking forward to next year though. No idea who'll they'll get.. The bar is always set so high.. There's another in December, but I'm not sure if I can make it.. I was knackered after Saturday though. There's always a low after such a big high, but it isn't too bad. Kinda stuck for things to do now. **Blush.** Hehehe..

Hey Cos! I see you met Nick Brendon...what a cutie! He was adorable when I met him at d*c. And I am jealous about Marina Sirtis! I met many of my TNG faves last year, but I really want to meet her!

Hope you have been doing well since I last spoke to you:)
