They don't neccessarily throw jobs at you.

The bulk of the job searching has to come from yourself, and you need to write everything that you're doing to find a job down on a wee diary. (Looking in newspapers, looking online: http://www.jobcentreplus.gov.uk, finding jobs through word of mouth or searching the high streets etc. It's a jon in itself sometimes.) :)

From time to time, they may offer you a vacancy. There are job points on the premises too. Although, most of the data in those machines can be found online. (See link above.)

There are always vacancies though. This is a good time of year for jobs. A lot of companies are recruiting through to Jan and maybe even Feb.
