Am I alone in my thinking?

First let me apologize, for I am a new recuit! Only after "Serenity" was run on cable did I join your loyal ranks. Of course I ran out and bought the movie (collectors edition for fear that I would miss out on something). That's when I discovered that the movie was a continuation of a cancelled TV series. Of course I ran out and bought the box set. Now I'm hooked! How did this show get cancelled??? What was FOX thinking??? It is one of the best SciFi shows, EVER! It's obvious they mishandled it from the beginning, but still; I've seen worse shows run for at least two years in order to develope a fan base. I smell a conspiracy! Is it at all possible that the Boneheads (oops, I mean Executives) at FOX are really Alliance Parliment members!!! Something to think about!!!

Browncoatlifer, you are not alone. Every fan of this show has wondered the EXACT same thing!

We all have that hope...(although sometimes I'd like to strangle it as it causes me more heartache than any human should have to bear). Browncoatlifer, I found Serenity on cable as well...and like you...then the series and could not believe it was canceled...what a shining jewel...compared to the crapola now offered television viewers...sheesh. I've joined with the 76th and marched at Dragon*Con in uniform just to bring some attention to this marvelous, ill-treated, magnificent program..I vote every hour I am conscious for Firefly at I've written postcards to Universal asking for a continuation or sequel..we all do what we can to keep the 'verse alive.

You are not alone in your thinking. There are about 10,000 people who absolutely agree with you. They are boneheads... dumbasses, even. I'm thinking, however, Firefly will rise again. Be it on the internet or on TV... It'll rise... or at least I hope.
