I would suggest trying to monopolize on the car's usage on weekends, when little bro should be at home doing his homework...but I am sure that lil' bro and your mom would raise a ruckus about THAT, since you're denying the little shit access to the car.

Definitely in a situation I wouldn't wish on anyone, JIAG. Logic doesn't seem to work and doing the "right thing" seems to be a foreign concept...guess you will just have to do the only thing left: selective sabotage the car so lil' bro has to use public transit;)

Short of climbing in and driving off into the sunset with it (which I don't really advise; you'll run out of gas eventually) I don't see a way to keep it in you posession. It does sound to me like your parents are being completely unreasonable about it, and I don't see how the argument "I didn't need it for school so why does he?" fails to penetrate, but I don't see any recourse for it if you didn't pay for it and/or don't have your name on the title. Doesn't make a lick of sense to me :(

To PR, unfortunately no, the car/insurance is NOT in my name. But my parents did buy the car and get it outfitted with hand controls so that I could drive it. Though, at this point I'm not doing much of the driving, 'cause the car is sitting in my little bro's school parking lot five days a week up to eleven hours a day!
