Paying over $20 for a handbag is insane. What makes a $1000 Prada bag worth so much more? The name? Okay, that might be worth an extra $10, not the amount that is being charged. Are the materials made in a magic loom? Same thing with shoes or anything else. I took my cousin shopping in Boston a while ago, and she bought these shoes that are nothing but a sole, heel, and a couple of straps - %250.

Makes me glad that I'm male - I mean $40 later, I have a pair of comfortable shoes that look good and last many years.

When will people wake up and realize that if they stopped paying the inflated prices, the prices will come down? Were they absent the day the "Law of Supply and Demand" was taught? Is it even tought anymore? Has it been supplanted by something like "Getting in touch with your inner child"?

Sorry, had to rant.
