Is this normal, or am I going crazy?
Thursday, April 19, 2007

'Kay, so I went into the bathroom not ten minutes to go and take out my contacts- cuz it's seven and I ain't got Karate or nothin' important tonight, anyways. So, anyways, I go in, and it was a minute before I releaized that I was brushing my teeth again. Has this happened to the rest a ya'll yet?

DARKEYES

I once was so preoccupied that I walked out the front door of my workplace and got halfway down the street before I realized my shift didn't end for another two hours.

I've forgotten what I was heading into a room for before I've left the first room. Don't feel bad.
Train of thought gets derailed and actions follow onto the next track sometimes.

I'll walk into a room and forget why I was going in there in the first place.

That's nothing. Once, years ago, I was unpacking my PE kit from my school bag in my bathroom, when I needed to blow my nose. And then instead of dropping the hankie in the toilet, I dropped the PE shorts I was holding.

I know. EW.

There's nothing quite like looking for your glasses only to realize they're already on your face.

I've noticed that when I get really stressed out, I tend to forget things like that. Don't feel bad. Many people I know tend to do that kind of stuff towards the end of the semester. (I'm in college by the way.) Please don't feel bad or alone.
