I'm a bit of a history buff so I new it wasn't all that accurate. That didn't stop it from being and awesome movie though. Really, really amazing!
I want to see it again in the near future.

Granted, 300 is a kickass movie in and of itself, but, if yer lookin' for historical accuaracy... go somewhere else.
Spartans ain't no better fighters than any other folk- any Greek coulda told ya that. They fight as a unit- however, they were the most effective fighting unit (Phalanx) in all of Greece, Asia Minor, and the world at large until the Romans' came along.
And, where was the second King of Sparta? Sparta had TWO Kings at any given time- that's why Leonidas went- he knew that Sparta wouldn't be left floundering, and the Oracle done TOLD him that, in order for Sparta to stand, a Spatan king must fall. And so it went... in the end, Leonidas sent away the thousands of other hoplites to save their forces, and the 300 made a bloody last stand.
And there were no Rhinos, and I'm pretty sure there weren't any Elephants (Don't quote me on that, though).
Still, a majorly kick-ass movie, in and of itself.

It was an excellent movie. I have no idea how historically accurate, so if you're big into that sort of thing, go with your mind open. Otherwise, it was an amazingly good film.

I was at the theater last Monday to see 300. Thought it was a great movie. Plenty of action and evil badies to go with it. If someone is looking for an entertaining evening I would recomend they see it.
