Like the title says, it's been rocking.

Got an awesome paying job out of nowhere (I put my resume and application in over 8 months ago), and it's within walking distance from my house....and apparently, the manager is a Firefly fan.

Oh, and I got into the Uni course I wanted...barely, and I didn't think I would, but I just scraped in by .95 of a point.

So. I have a brand spanking new job, and I'm going to Uni.

The only bad part has been the 2 hour trek by train into Sydney for my induction, and the inch long gash that required a few stitches I have on my left hip. Oh well, them be the breaks.

It's funny, I spend $340 doing my RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) and RCG (Responsible Conduct of Gambling) and a 4 day bartending course so's I can work part time at a local pub, and I end up not needing it 'cause I got a job at an electronics store.

My week rocked, I hope you have one soon too.

Heh. At a BBQ at a friends birthday. The person cooking was drinking (as one does at parties), and was holding sharp stabby bits (as one does when cooking). He turned, and I got nudged in the way at the same time. I got stabbed/slashed with the sharp pokey bit. It was a giant two pronged fork thingamajig...I don't know what you call it.

Bit of a freak thing really. He apologised..don't know why, wasn't his fault, but I had to go to the local medical centre to get patched up.

I didn't mind. Everytme I drink alcohol I get hurt. It's become a subjust of much amusement to my friends.
