serenity the movie?

what do you think the chances of them making a second movie would be? i think they could but thats just me hoping.

There's good hopes, I like to think. Of course the box office and video sales is a big part, but there's also the fact that Joss is off doing two movies and three comic books series. So this means a Serenity sequel could be a couple of years;)

The talk at the time was that if it did $80 million in business at the box office, Universal would go again. Last I heard, it had done about 50.
DVD sales and ongoing screenings might have an influence.

I don't know, but it sold well and continues to sell well on dvd and( based on Kevin Smith's comments) that's all it takes to greenlight a sequel:)
