Packing for Flan
Wednesday, December 6, 2006

Long time, no visit. It's been busy and chaotic to say the least.

Anyhow, I'm in the midst of packing for Flan and suddenly decided that I'm having a fat day, I'm sick of my clothes, and I don't know what I want to wear.

Basically, I turned into a total girl. And now I have enough outfits crammed into my luggage amongst the homework to last more than a week.

See also FollowMal re over-packing.
I maintain that if there's room (and someone to do the carrying if possible) one may pack to one's girly heart's delight. If there's a husband giving you a hard time, you just hold up the lacy stuff and ask if he'd like you not to bring it. ::-)

If you pack all the things you need, all the things you might need, all the things you might need if certain events occur, and all the things you might want if you can't use the things you need...then you've done your job and not overpacked:)

Hey, I overpacked too! I'm usually a light packer, but I had no idea what I'd feel like wearing to the various events, so I just packed it all! We're in Burbank now, and I unpacked last night, and my husband was laughing at what a girly-girl I'd become!

See you at Flan!

And if things keep going as they've been going, then you're gonna feel mighty silly for packing:(

Still...being overprepared is better than being underprepared. Except when you got to haul all the stuff you packed around;)
