I went to Burger King today for some chicken sandwiches. I had a two for one coupon. I heard "Rain Song" on the radio and remembered all the conversations I had with old friends about Houses of the Holy being at least one of the better Zeppelin albums, if not the best. It definitely had one of my favorite song sequences in it. I thought about how great the weather had been for the Thanksgiving weekend, and how this next week is supposed to be all grey and rainy again. Robert Plant crooned and wailed as I drove by the newspaper office, the in-patient hospital, the Blockbuster, the real estate office and the army recruiting office. The line was short in the drive thru. David Surrette came on the radio playing his Irish folk tunes. I thought about standing on a green hill and watching Serenity fly away into the clouds and beyond the atmostphere. On the way back I drove cautiously behind a drunk driver in a Corrola who couldn't stay in his lane. I got home, put in "Bushwacked" and ate like a king. I'm not a healthy eater by any means.
