Adam Balwin and X-Files
Tuesday, September 12, 2006

Ok, so I just finished the entire series of X-Files. That's taken about two years because my roomie's been buying the seasons and they ain't a bit cheap. Anyhow, Adam Baldwin is in the last two season. Sordid fellow.

So now I can expand my list of TV shows I've seen every episode of.

Firefly
Buffy
X-Files

Pittiful, no? I sorely wish to add Angel to that, I have only seen season 4 and part of season 5. I have seen every episode of the first four seasons of Smallville, and soon will add the fifth. I have also seen most of the first seven seasons of Friends. That is basically the limit to my TV show ness. I don't have TV, only shows on DVD.

Here is my theory on TV shows on DVD: they are better than movies. Longer, more characterization. Also, the episodes are shorter. I have found that my attention span is seriously diminishing, so hour long is better than two or three. Not to say that I don't watch two or three or more episodes in a row... not saying that at all. But, the theory stands. Also, it's a hecka lot better to watch shows on DVD than on TV because there are no comercial breaks, no week long waits. One can pause for breaks. I like it. It makes my heart happy.

And it's kind of ironic thing that Nathan was probably one of the frontrunners for Angel besides DB. Least he gets to show his evil-making skills off;)

And yeah AR...TV on DVDs is a wonderful thing...until the show you want watch isn't available on DVD. Then it just sucks. Still...it's how my obsession with the 'Verse was born, so I can't complain:D

Staying with the topic of Adam in the X-Files...I had to admit, I was genuinely creeped out by his organic T-1000 impression (even more impressive when Robert Patrick was on the last season of "The X-Files"), especially after he got squashed inside of the garbage truck and then slowly rebuilt himself from that metal vertebrae:O

i didn't know he was in X-files. that makes me almost willing to get over my rediculous fear of that show just to watch it. (seriously, scary stuff... lets just say i don't do so well)

I loved him in the 5th season of Angel. Did you all notice that Adam is the final baddie on Angel and Nathan was the "final" baddie on Buffy (i put it in quotes because the first is the baddie but since it manifests itself as dead people, so it wasn't one consistant person the whole time. Plus he never like punches anybody and you can't stake him)

CYBERSNARK

Speaking of, why has nobody done the inevitable "Well-Dressed Jayne" video (Adam in a suit, to the tune of ZZTop's "Sharp Dressed Man")?

(I'd do it myself, but I lack DVDs, good software, and skillz.)

And of course, one can pause the frames and ogle...

I'm tempted to go back and watch Angel just for the Marcus Hamilton episodes. AB in a very smart suit, looking evil and yummy...
