Ouch. When life sucks, it really sucks. Hope you can find someplace that better appreciates your genius (or at least understands basic workplace requirements and why they hired you in the first place).

Never been in your situation before, and hope you get what you deserve. Which is good things. On a more manly note, hoo-rah!

I know all about working with assholes and degenerates, so my sympathies.

The whole redshirts thing is a bit ironic. Because in the classic STAR TREK, being a readshirt is an automatic death sentence. And yet, in the subsequent series, the captains and the higher ranking officers were the ones who wore the red uniforms.

Hey Cos, I hate to say this, but with my experience in retail, that manager is par for the course. I don't know why a lot of retail store (cough Canadian Tire cough) feel the need for their managers to be total A-holes.

I had my fair share of headbutting with them.

I'm glad you kept a good attitude even through the adversary.

Cos, I'm so glad to know just what you've been going through. Here's a big, huge, supportive hug from me. There are still too many ignorant people in places of authority around. I'm sorry your recent manager turned out to be one.
Things will get better. I'm glad your post reflects that you know that. *hugs* again.
