There Are Two Places
Monday, August 28, 2006

I have finally found my nitches in life. Currently, I am the Star Wars master of my little town in Indiana. If anyone has a Star War question they call me. It's like I'm a walking encyclopedia of all things Star Wars.

So that feels good. I always knew that I was at home in the Star Wars universe. Recently though, I have felt at home in the Firefly 'verse. It's good to know that you can have two interests and nobody hates you for that.

I'm not saying that Firefly fans are haters, but I do have to tell you that as a fan of a band in the 80's (I mean diehard fan) there was always something to be said for only liking one or the other. I don't feel that with Firefly. I feel like I can still let my true colors as a Star Wars freek shine and also love Firefly too.

I just want to say thanks to everyone who has made me feel comfortable around the 'verse. I don't think that it gets said enough. I just want to pass along the warm words and maybe a hug or two.

Okay everybody get close to your computer and hug yourself really tight. We will call it the largest browncoat hug ever. It's the hug felt round the world!

Thanks everyone for making my days less boring and my life full.

:)

Biiiigggg hugs back to you!

Oh, and don't forget Farscape, FM!

And yes, we scifi fans really gotta stick together; they keep taking away my shiny toys (series),

Hey, thanks for the hug, Imin. :)

I'm glad you feel that comfortable here.
I've noticed that Firefly fans are usually scifi fans and pretty accepting of other's likes and dislikes. We love the 'verse the most, but it sure doesn't preclude liking something else.
I'm a SW and ST fan my ownself. SG-1 too. I think us scifi fans gotta stick together and look out for each other.
