Early on in the movie, when Jack's crew was talking about Shiny rewards and honest payment, did anyone else think about Firefly ? I know I did. I even told that to my mom and she said she did too!

Hahaha...I love how persuasive I can be that even I got my mom thinking about Firefly during a Pirate movie.

mmm! i was just about to go blog about that! i turned to my sis and said "so, crazy-awesome coincidence or a nod to firefly?"
she seemed to think it was the first one, can't imagine why. but yeah that totally made the movie for me.
