Anyone read this book? its a fantasy by Christopher Paolini.

Started reading it yesterday and gotta say it is rather good. Well written, nice ideas, characters you can easily understand.

Also being made into a feature film. (what ISN'T these says).

Overall: a nice little book :)

Eragon is very good and was written when the author was just 15. I was running the young-adult section of a bookstore at the time and it was a big seller.

The sequel, Eldest was out last year and it too is well written although the storyline borrows heavily from other fantasy novels and I saw the plot twist from about 7miles out waving a neon sign. Having said that... it's still one of the better books out recently in the genre.

Yes! I adore it. If you like the first one, read the sequel Eldest. Part of a three-part series. (I met the author, too, at a signing! He's a nice guy)
