so my dad was supposed to wake me up early this morning, for one reason or another. anyway, he wakes me up, i go back to sleep, he wakes me up i go back to sleep etc. so finally he comes into my room and says "hey, did you use me email address to send an email to some guy named joss whedon?" ///// so of course im sprinting to the computer before my still-asleep brain registers that a)my dad knows perfectly well who joss whedon is b)no, actually, i didnt, so then c)....ohhhhh thats just mean . i was less then amused. so yeah, my fandom was used to get me out of bed.

Priceless.

My mom did something similar to us when we were kids. She said our cat Judy had had kittens, but we knew Judy was fixed.

It worked, though. Got us on our feet. Then we were disappointed because there were no kittens.

Were you bummed there was no email from Joss? I woulda been.
