YEAH I SAID IT... If ya aint careful Ill do it again.

How do I stop the Spam shit?

Im told I can not hunt the silly useless people down and shoot them, legally that is, Im thinkin about doin it Illegally and damn the being nice about it too.

Its like 65 emails a day maybe more... and it all about stuff I dont use or ever will.

Id realy hate ta leave this site but this spammin on my stuff has gotta quit.

I mean it... dont think Im playin.

Did you go to the Get 'Firefly' DVD boxset FREE link? If you did and entered your e-mail anywhere, that's where trhe spam is coming from. I do not recommend people visiting that link. It's less hassle to just buy the boxset. It took me weeks to get the crap from flooding in. Still get one or two a week still.

I was getting one or two a week after careful filtering and then I signed up to livejournal.

I ticked all the 'do not pass on my information boxes' but it still bumped my spam up to 5 or 6 a day.

Seriously though... there was no increase in spam from this site when I joined.

I doubt it's from here. I get very little, most days.
Better, when I signed up here I didn't notice an increase the way I had after signing up elsewhere.

Are you sure it's this site? I only get 2-5 spam emails a day and they get sent straight to my Bulk mail folder and they get deleted at the end of the night.

Maybe it depends on who the email service is through though.

I like creamed spam with peas....


You should use filters or blacklists or algorithms...it is possible to get rid of most spam. Alwasy look for checkboxes to opt in on websites, bbs, installs, and ULAs. They're everywhere.

I don't even get that many in a week anymore.

try cloud mark, spam catcher, mailwasher, or just do a google search.
