Can I just say I really hate the last few days of school. The administration makes us turn in all the books before the last week so the kids know they don't have to do anything because grades are cut off, but we still have a whole week with them. What a waste. Oh well...Still teaching is the best job on the planet. Mind you I could really go for that lovely outdoor classroom with a few bright students and electronic tablets for the kids with touch screens>>>Come on Joss when's the 'verse getting here?

I always thought the last few days of school were pretty pointless because no-one wanted to work, there wasn't really any work and the teachers just spent the week trying to get people to take down displays.
For people in the final year you weren't told what time you finished to try to prevent leaver's pranks. You were just called into a final assembly and then told you could go home.

As a student, I love the last week of school. Parties, floor hockey, girls...

I LOVE GRADE EIGHT!!

And soon to be Grade NIne.
