computer help - please!

ARGH, I keep tryig to burn a DVD on my computer, and my Nero, which was working *fine* until recently, keeps giving me 'burn process failed'. I have like, 50GBs worth of video I need to unload off my hard drive.

I have no idea if the problem is with Nero or the burning thingy on my computer. Does anyone know of any alternative burning programs I could download.

ok i don't know a lot about burning dvd's but i asked a friend and he uses dvd shrink. Not sure if that's any help.

If you have windows XP you can always use the built in burner software. It's not brilliant or useful but it can help you check. Personally I'd say it would be either the media it self, it's unlikely since all are failing, or the drive.

Not sure if you've tried this, but I always reduce the burn speed dramatically. it takes longer sure, but the quality is usually better. fewer errors. How old is the DVD burner? check for updates for the drivers.
Not knowing specifics, these are the things I'd try. I don't know NERO, I have a program called ULead. came with my DVD drive. Don't know if it's downloadable.

i have never burned a dvd or cd ut windows media player can do it also have you got enoth room on your dvd hope this helps
