Here it is Easter Sunday

I just felt like adding a little blog here. I don't know why today of all days I wanted to put this down in a post I can't answer that.

My Dad. One of the toughest men I knew. When I say tough I don't mean he would get in a bar room tussel and be the last man standing. I mean here is a family man, went to the same job for 40 years and did it very well.
Came home in the afternoon, kissed his wife and did repairs on the house. There was always something broken. Did he get angry at times? Yes, but he never hurt any of his kids or mom.

two years after he died I saw a hardhat on a self in the laundry room. I asked my mother about it. she said "It was your fathers" and a month after he retired she wanted to throw it out. He stopped her by asking her not to. One of the few times I'd known of any sentimental emotion of my dad. That hat still sits on that self.

Happy Easter Dad

it's the same with my grandpa. he's not dead, but he's kept a picture of him and my grandma when they first met. it's a sweet thing to do, and it lets us all know that he still loves her over fifty years later.

happy easter zzeta13's dad. happy easter everyone.
