I've been away from Fireflyfans.net for far too long.

Things have been out of control lately at home. What with mom being sick and me taking her to the hospital for her chemo treatments and her rehydration, then grandmom with her surgery coming up, I'm spending more and more time out of the house than ever. Neither one of them can really do housework, so I'm finding myself cleaning three houses some weeks. It's no wonder this past weekend I did over ten loads of laundry in two days. My house is falling apart at the seams, but I am content in knowing that my mom and my grandmom are taken care of. Now if only my aunts and uncles would help pick up some slack from time to time, it'd free me up some. Even my mom said today that I do more than most of my aunts and uncles. There are 12 of them besides my mom, after all! (that doesn't even include spouses)

And I think I bit off more than I can chew sometimes on the 'internet' front. MalNourished, FollowMal and I are gathering info for a business idea. I'm also trying to do some Moonlight Rising stuff. Everything's just being juggled as best it can, so please don't expect too much from me? Between the kids and everything I've committed to, what you get from me is what you get. :) Sorry it's not A-1 top quality, but it's the best I can do for now, I promise.

Back to the title of the post...

Asarian asked for more fanfic, so I'll be working on that a bit tonight. I did visit the library for some helpful hints on writing short stories. One of them was written by Dean Koontz, and so far it's been fairly helpful. I'm still stuck on a slight story hiccup but I'm hoping it'll iron itself out eventually.

I can't promise anything'll be ready tonight, maybe I'll change it up a bit and send it to beta FIRST! LOL

Hey, things are tough sometimes. We're all behind you and we understand that sometimes (as much as we don't want it this way) reality gets in the way and our ff world has to wait.

Sometimes it all gets a bit much but if you need to talk or even to just vent there will always be someone here.

(Even in the middle of the night, since, lets face it... we browncoats come from every timezone!)

Kaele....I know what it's like taking care of sick parents. Have been doing it on and off for the last 8 or so years:(

Honestly, someone should take up the slack for care and maintenance, even temporarily, cuz you're gonna just hit a wall and that's it folks. Not saying the gang here at FFF.net won't accept your stuff with open arms (cuz we will), but it sounds like too much is on your plate....
