Okay folks....I just have to whine for a few minutes:( I've spent a very long time working on the next chapter of my fanfic, Dream Sequence. It was almost done, as a matter of fact.....and I deleted it. Irretrievably. I had it saved as a draft on my email, so I could log in and work on it from home, work, or wherever, and I accidentally clicked the "disgard draft" button.

Now, I wasn't entirely happy with the chapter, and I'd planned to do a good deal of editing, but there was still some good stuff in there that is now gone. I just spent some time starting the re-write, but it's really hard to get motivated when you know you already wrote something, and you said it better the first time. I'm not happy:(

I understand completely how you feel. I had been working on the new chapter of Firefly: The Past, and it got lost in the clutter of...everything...on my desktop. So it's lost to the black.

Ack ... horrible. I did the exact same thing not too long ago, but for as terrible as it seemed at the time, I managed to crank out a better (in my opinion) version. Hope you do too. :)

at least you're writing ...i haven't scribed a thing since my last fic almost 2 years ago!!! guess i only had the two ficlettes in me... sighs
