Okay my post makes me seem like a jerk I was responding to your second comment.

Glad to hear you're okay. I know about people being idiots in bad weather. For some reason most folks round my town seem not to be able to comprehend that the speed limit is the highest speed you should go in the best possible conditions not the minimum speed you can ever go.

Sorry to hear about that, hope it all doesn't prove too expensive - plus missing other cars = goodness

I was fine, fortunately. Shaken for a moment, but not shocked or angry or anything.

I was quite concerned, however, by the large and/or fast moving vehicles who insisted on approaching my non-moving, stuck in the middle of the road car in hazardous weather at speed, when a splendid example of what happens if you don't drive safely was sat right infront of them.

People are stupid.

But saying that, many people stopped to see if I was okay, even a couple of chavs. Almost restored my faith in humanity, or some such crap.

But... still walking/talking/typing/flying...
