the cure for writers block
Tuesday, February 21, 2006

I had a three day weekend that I thought would be a time of much progress on the Fish Job sequel, but nada! What with the olympics and visiting friends and home demolition (weee!) and many other distractions (smallville marathon for *****sake, where are my priorities!?!) I got precisely nowhere.

But now that I'm back at work and supposed to have things to do, the fiction wheels are turning. Work avoidance, the best way to get anything done!!

So has anyone ever been fired for reasons of fanfic addiction? Send good thoughts toward my boss for me, just in case...

:giggle: I do all of my fanfic writing at work:) Fortunately I'm on graveyard so bossy can't see me though. Sending good thoughts your way, I really like your writing, hence I want to see more.

I'm in the exact same boat M4P.... I had three lovely days over the weekend, I was rarin' to go on the next part of my story and.... nope (on the plus side, I did make a new t-shirt, but no on the fiction)
Of course, as soon as I got back to work, 1500 words in no time on monday, and more today... Work is the ONLY place I ever seem to be able to write... I could never be a professional writer, I wouldn't be able to avoid my job writing, by writing! LOL
regardless I'm sending happy thoughts to your boss so you won't get caught, and even shinier thoughts to you to speed you along in the sequel!
