My first week here more or less
Saturday, February 18, 2006

And I've begun maybe to make a few friends. Seem to have made an enemy as well. I supose it evens out. I'm not quite sure exactly when I in his cornflakes but we seem to have agreed to ignore each other so no harm I suppose.

As to new friends may I thank everybody else for the warm welcome, stimulating discusion, and making me feel stupid at hangman. FollowMal you don't seem to have gotten around to issuing me my regulation browncoat - but I see you've been a bit busy lately and I did kind of just jump in without introducing myself and acted like I'd been here all along so no worries. The coat I'm wearing is a kind of brownish color so it'll do untill you're heading that direction.

Firefly. Wow. It's like somebody opened up my brain, mapped all of the synaptic connections, and produced a television show aimed specifically at me. Everlasting gratitude for enriching my life goes out to all involved in this project from Joss all the way down to the ladies staffing the catering trailer. (Yes even FOX strange to say, without them I wouldn't have gotten even 14 episodes)

So my first Blog, something sad, something glad, something obvious.

Weather in daveland: really freaking cold.

Hi there daveshayne and welcome!

Kaele, of course I meant intelectually stimulating. And since I just got done screening OMR and it's just the apropriate quote, "Preacher, you've got a smutty mind."

Oldfogey, thanks. It took me a while to figure out how to say it as well.

Thanks be to DaveShayne for putting this
into words. I've been wondering how to
verbalize that feeling.

Dave's first blog. Now you're just as crazed and obsessed as us all.

Wait. We're stimulating? Hope you didn't get nekkid for that one...

Thank you FollowMal.

It's good to be here and I certainly do count you among my friends.

Weather in FollowMal Land: really freaking cold too - like 15 freakin' degrees!!! Snow, too, it must be snowy Saturday.

Dave, I have no idea how I could have missed giving you a Browncoat! *scratches head in consternation*. The only thing I can come up with is that you fit in so perfectly amongst us, I felt you had been here longer than me and that you were the quintessential Browncoat!

How's that for crawling? LOL

*hands Dave his Browncoat, ceremoniously*

Here you are sir, for being a fine example to all of your fellow Browncoats.

Dave, really you are a fine addition to our community and I'd be proud to be counted amongst your friends. I'm so glad you are here.

You are so lucky you have snow. We have had like no snow here in three years. 3 feet of snow wasted on New york and we don't even get a flake. The Dave being, he likes the snow.

Welcome! I did the same thing. Just sorta jumped in without a formal introduction. No one seems to care though we're all here for the same reason. And it snowed here today! It barely ever snows and golly gee it's really freaking cold in my world too!
