Badger, a Browncoat?

I was watching Shindig (yet again) and something occurred to me. One thing is that I actually own the same sword that Mal used in the episode I guess I shop at the same places as the prop department..lol..but I digress. I noticed that whem Badger arrived on Serenity to hold the crew there during the duel, he was eating his apple whith a knife the same way the Mal and Zoe do. It got me thinking, Badger seemed to know alot about Mal's time as a Browncoat in the pilot. It would be very interesting to find out that he was (the fact that the character was meant to be played by Joss hints at a more active part). What do you all think?

Yea, it could definatly be possible, but I wouldn't exactly go on him eating an apple with a knife, the only people from the browncoats that did that were the ones stuck in that trench. And if he were in that battle with zoe and mal I could see them being alot better freinds then they are. And as for badger knowing alot about mal, I imagine Badger could find out alot about anyone.

It could be. That could explain why he is in the profession that he is. If he was a Browncoat, it would have been hard for him ,just like it is for Mal to find work

Idunno I aint to sure there was to many "Limeys" hangin with the Browns...Idunno...

He coulda been a "Blue Belly"gone bad.

Idunno ... interesting.
