Watched Serenity again and . . .

. . noticed something that made me very happy. In the scene where Mal is sitting in his cabin watching the capture of Inara, what do I spy in the background? The toilet. Perfectly framed. Lovingly unlit. The toilet.


Why would this make me happy, you might ask? Well, when I saw the pilot for the first time, the "toilet scene" came on, and I sat up, blinked, shook myself, scanned back, watched it again, and thought "Wow. A space toilet? This is, inexplicably cool!"

I'm thrilled the toilet made it into the movie. If feels like an old friend, somehow.
