I've been busy with other things but every now and then i pop in my Firefly DVDs and get that warm feeling inside that I'm sure people here can relate to :)

In anycase, I have been waffling between using two different frameworks, one a very popular one that most people use, and the other a less known one but easier (for me) to play with.

I played around with the latter, but in the end I decided to use the more popular one. Here's a paste of the beginning of the game. I have most of the rooms on Serenity implemented and connected, I have to add more descriptions. Once I have all the descriptions done I'll release what I have so far so people can offer comments and corrections.

Eventually, you will need to install a "zcode interpreter" (used to play old infocom games as well as inform games) for your computer. Luckily there are interpreters for most major computing platforms/OS's out there.

Not too much, I'm afraid. I am relying on the builtin library that comes with inform, which includes a parser.

SHINY

Hey, do you know anything about programming natural language parsers? If so, send Haken a wave, because he's trying to write one for the Firefly RP on this site.
