Firefly helps the medicine go down.
Monday, March 15, 2004

Well it helps anything bad go down (both figuratively and litterally). Disclaimer:The following paragraphs are completely random and unconnected except by the mention of Firefly. You have been warned.

I spent 11 hours yesterday doing a horrible computer project, the only thing keeping me going was the thought of Firefly as a reward when I was done and my darling Almond with all his help. In the end, when it was all finished I watched Safe then Shindig with commentary. I hadn't seen any Firefly since reading week so it was quite shiny. When I was watching Safe, one of my roommates came and watched a little bit with me and would have stayed if she didn't have an essay to finish, who knows maybe I'll have another convert soon.

This morning another roommate was talking about how she always cuts her apples, teehee. I love random Firefly references by people who don't even know they're making them.

2 weeks ago I was visiting my fiance and there were fliers for a complete Firefly showing at his university on the Saturday...we saw them on Sunday. Sometimes life just kicks you in the shin like that. Tonight though, on my campus we're having a Firefly showing! Nothing too big, don't want to overwhelm the newbies :P Serenity, TTJ, OMR, Ariel, Trash, and I think The Message...I didn't pick them so I'm not sure. It was crazy last week and this weekend just passed, so it's nice to be able to relax with a little Firefly.

So now I'm just waiting for my program counselor to call me back so she can sign my course selection sheet. Damn you Genetics, if it wasn't for you I wouldn't need her to sign anything and I wouldn't have to be waiting like this. *Shakes fist at Gregor Mendel* I'm not very good at waiting, can't say as I have much patience myself. So I guess I'll just sit here...and wait...for the phone to ring...I'll just spend my time looking forward to a Firefly marathon with a room full of fans...ring!stupid phone...*sigh*
