Makin' sense is not my strong suit...
Saturday, December 10, 2005

when I'm bored senseless, nursing a bottle of Brisk iced tea. That's Brisk, baby.

The scent of soy sauce from my sushi lingers, because the trash can with the to-go receptacle is near my desk.

Forgive me for boring content, but the content is only as good as the source material. You can't make diamonds out of poop, or at least not right away. It takes thousands of years, and I don't have that much time.

Ah, that confounded Christmas movie with the stingy banger and what's his face, that actor who died sometime within the past five years. "It's a Wonderful Life," with... the guy who was in "To Kill a Mockingbird" and some loopy space movie with Gene Hackman. Those are the only movies I can remember him being in.

Brain...working...sluggishly.

This guy also served in World War II. I remember these facts about him, but not his name. People like Don Rickles also imitate his voice. It's distinctive, with its nasally sound. Wish his name was more distinctive than his voice. Then I wouldn't be going on and on about my own ignorance. So this actor will remain nameless. Since he's dead, he won't mind too much.
