New Firefly Moments

29 November

I was talking to a volunteer about copy machines today. She was mourning the loss of her home copier, and told me about how it was just a tiny nick from one of the parts that obliterated the poor thing. It was nothing and yet vitally crucial.

I said, "copiers never tell you they're broken by bursting into flame or anything."

While a little voice in my head said, "But Serenity did, didn't she?"

And then I said something like, "It's never anything big either. No, it's just one little part."

And then Mal was in my head…

"Well it's a nothing part until you don't got one, and then it seems to be everything."

Time for a Firefly DVD marathon again, obviously.

GYPSYLIFE

I posted a while back saying that the cat. converter went bad in my car but when my friend asked me what was wrong with it I said it was the catyliser. I didn't even catch it until she said "the what"?
FF lives in all our brains if nothing else.

CALLMESERENITY

Hey Channin!

LOL! I've had very similar copy machine conversations. It's always nothing parts with copiers, isn't it?
