That was actually a complete accident. After typing in the title, I hit enter instead of tab...heehee. The outcome though was very much similar to my own thoughts...(I actually wrote that in my stats class. My teacher looked at it and laughed...a lot.)

I took a course in Deductive Logic. It actually was titled Logic for Contemporary Arguement. It covered symbolic logic, deductive reasoning and inductive reasoning. I really got alot out of it but my professor warned us in no uncertain terms, "If you apply these principles and rules to examine the real world it will probably drive you crazy or in the very least you will never trust another politician or media person ever again."

I had to take Stats for my Pysch degree. That make sense to you? Well, mostly the focus was on population percentages and such. poll results etc. the math part and the insane formulas bit me hard. I highly recommend Deductive Logic for anybody and everybody. Very useful for seeing through the lies that so many believe.

Agreed.

I've been able to stick to the math without living in the plague that is stats. I'm just lucky that my U doesn't require a stats course for a math degree. I hear some do.

Have courage, it'll be over soon.
