Fan Fiction is Like Crack
Monday, November 21, 2005

Once you get a taste there is no way to stop, not even if you wanted to. I find myself constantly checking for updates in the Blue Sun Room. Reading fanfic has become a massive distraction for me. If I'm on my computer, chances are I'm reading some. Oh and is anyone else out there as addicted to misskitten's "Pretty...Pretty" series? I'm jonesin' for another installment. Tralala, reading fanfic is fun, and as a result I am now seriously behind on all my homework

Hey Scout...

If you go the Blue Sun Room you can find all the old archived fics there if you slog back through the entries.

However, if you have an author you've found, it's easier to the click on their name and go to their profiler which has the option "See all this person's blue sun items", which will show you all their fics and artwork.

Yeah, fanfic is monkey crack alright.

I recommend Bookaddict, RinnyPJ, Belasera, Beautifool, ScrewtheAlliance. All good writers there.

Reading it, writing it, it's all good.

Are we fic pimping? 'Cause that's fun.

You seriously want to be behind on all homework? Read my Adam's Rib series. 11 chapters and it's complete. It gets a little OTP, but not terribly so.

Or the Hybrid Lives series, which is all canon. That's shorter and easier to read.

Go to my profile and the 'all Blue Sun items' to find them.

I'm also into misskitten's "Pretty...pretty" series. Not to pimp my own stuff, but if you want to read something similar to that, you might want to take a look at my series "You Can't Go Home Again". You might want to read "The Serenity Gig" first and "Blue Hand Blues" second, since the former introduces an original character that serves as the catalyst for YCGHA, and the latter introduces an important development in River as a character. Otherwise you'll be scratching your head, wondering "Huh?" when you should be getting into the story.

I'm also behind in schoolwork as well, as well as YCGHA. But I promise that by the end of the year, I'll have the whole thing finished. I have all of Dec off, so that when I plan to fill in the blanks and finish the damn thing.
