Songs that fit Firefly/Buffy/Angel characters?

Thanks to a lot of help from another Firefly fan, I'm (hopefully) going to be working on some fan music videos for Firefly, Buffy, and Angel. I'm planning to do vids that highlight specific characters, but also vids for certain relationships as well as whole-cast-type vids.

I've already got a few songs that I know would be absolutely perfect:

I'd love to hear any other suggestions of songs that would be a perfect fit for a character or a relationship.

Some of these videos I can already see in my head, particularly the Spike one, the River one, and the Faith one.

Just a little update if anyone cares: I decided to go with Johnny Cash's version of "Rusty Cage" for Mal. Seems to work really, really well.

oddness2her - I just had a listen to Cash's version. I think it sounds a bit too weathered and not as big or reverent as the original. It could well be a better version, but I think the original would be more dramatic for this purpose.

Have you considered Johnny Cash's version of "Personal Jesus"? Might be a better fit for the 'Firefly' sensibility than Depeche Mode.

Stoney - That's a good idea, tying in the Chinese connection. I was looking at "Personal Jesus" because of the reverent Western sound (plus the message). I hadn't considered Chinese sounds, though.

I have this one in 5.1 so expect a few Premiere snippets of it shortly. Souvenir of China is also quite a good candidate, both tracks incorporate the chinese theme very well!

When shes climbing into the lift shaft thing, in the escape sequence, she looks just like Amy Lee in the video too.
