Fic stuff and... stuff.

I spent so much time writing the next chapter of The Passenger part 2 last night, only to wake up to realize I was going to have to rewrite everything I wrote last night. I hate when that happens.

I just discovered the discussion boards. I thought about opening a post on the Blue Sun room thread, but I'm not sure. I hate posting things and having no one respond.

My head hurts.

^ it does. I could never write anything like that. Although, we do have the same ideas sometimes (if you ever read Cargo), you put them in a much better way than i do.

Phaedra: Thanks. I love writing, but you're right, it really is difficult. And this week was hell for me, so when the writing didnt go write, it just made it that much worse.

RiverNot: I've had that happen before. Once, I had a beta send back an entire fic back and tell me it didn't work. It actually ended up being fun to rewrite , but when I first got the news I was *so* very disheartedned.

ItsaWash: Thanks for the advice about asking a question. I'll try to come up with one; I never thought about doing that before. Thanks!

Serafina, keep writing and keep posting. When you post, the best way to get responders is to ask a pointed question. You've got yourself a captive audience here. We love Firefly and so do you so don't give up.

I know exactly what you're going through. I had a section written and thought it was great, sent it to my beta reader, she said go, and then 2 days later I realized half of it wouldn't work, which meant the other half has to be tweaked to match the new half I'll have to write. Argh!!!

Good luck with you're rewrite. Maybe some of what you wrote last night can be used elsewhere?

Writing is a difficult labor of love. And then we awaken in the harsh light of day only to realize that the only good writing is rewriting. Keep at it. I'm sure your story rocks.
