Numbers for the Friday Box Office are coming in, and they are NOT of the good. A 60% drop off, $1.5 million, 9th place! We need to get back out there and buy more tickets! If you can, buy extra tickets! I'm thinking of buying tickets for every matinee showing on Sunday, and buying as many as three extra tickets when I go to see it tonight. Talk up the BDM even more! Post guerrilla marketing if you've got 'em! We are in serious trouble here, and only money & word of mouth can save us. So get back out there and HOLD THE LINE!

I want my Big Damn Sequel, gorramit!

Thanks for pitching in, UmSumayyah. I hope there are plenty others like you. And I hope you have a great time at the film come monday (I'm assuming you haven't seen it yet). The quality of the BDM is why it needs to do well, because it's so much *better* than the crap most studios put out. So let's keep those tickets sales up, browncoats! Maybe we can convince Hollywood to make more *good* films, like say BIG DAMN SEQUELS!

Well, I bought two tickets today. I just wish I was actually in the theater watching it right now. I hope I can actually go see it Monday.
