I have employed, during times of poverty, a dish I like to call MikeySlop.

1 Cup Rice (1 cup when it's uncooked)
1 Can Beans (gotta have protein and fiber!)
1 Onion
Some other veggies
and meat if you're feelin' high-falutin'

Cook and place in a large tupperware container. Eat as many bites as needed throughout the day - one batch usually lasts me for 2 or 3.

Best of luck working somewhere that doesn't suck!

here's a trick: 12 for a dollar ramen. Don't ignore the broth. you can save it for a second meal. Butter sandwiches are good too. Use half a packet of the flavor stuff on the noodles and save the other half to make your meatless sandwhiches have a bit more kick.
