Music

I'm trying to think of the last time I took notice, in a psitive way, the music in a show or a film. I usually don't, I usually just absorb it all as a whole. But I was watching T3 and the music, or rather lack there of, in this one scene just stood out so badly.

You know one of the moments when I first watched Firefly (and I was thinking this show is odd but I kinda like it) that really stands out, is the moment Serenity disengages from that wreck, and she goes into full burn, and the music with that scene. It was stunning. I don't remember taking notice, of being affected by music so, in a tv show like that since maybe Due south, in the Victoria Secret ep. Hmm. Which makes me want to go listen more closely to all the shows I've ever watched, which of course I can't. and the whole reason I'm even thinking this is because of T3 and the Transporter 2... lol

You can make your own judgments as to which music does it's job best if you so choose to see these films. :p Being married to the man I am, it is likely these type of movies will be a permenant fixture in my life.

Not that that's so bad really. They are enjoyable for what they are.

Too bad there's no kung foo smilie. Or a smilie in a fast car that can do amazing feats in a single tank of gas! That would be shiny.

And that's my rambling for the evening. G'night.

Oh yes Cabin Music was shiny. All the music was shiny actually. I have both soundtracks. Mmm.
Man I want a Firefly soudtrack!

MONTANAGIRL

I generally really notice scores. I have tons of movie soundtracks- instrumentals, not the kind with songs. But that's just me. :)

The "Victoria's Secret" music was amazing. Another one I really liked was "Cabin Music." Due South had some darn good music.
