I feel so shiny - I just converted my first fan!

I lent my friend the first DVD and tried to encourage her to watch it without sounding like a psychotic maniac.

She had the DVD for a week and didn't find time to watch it, so I continued to enthuse about the show without making it the only topic of conversation.

This morning I got an email from her. She'd finally found time to watch Serenity last night and wrote to say she was hooked!! "Smart Sci Fi, and funny!" she wrote.

I just feel so warm and shiny!

(Now I just have to get my DVD back!!!)

Yes...well. So much to say.
I am such a fan now (thanks to Serena). Ended up buying the DVD's myself, I did (finally) return Serena's back to her.
Now I have watched all the episodes am suffering terrible withdrawal. Never been quite so, shall we dare say, obsessed, with just a television show. This show rocks! Please - to the powers that be, bring this program back!!!! The writing is awesome. Can't say enough about it.

I've converted at least 6 people, probably more (through those 6 people, of course). I want to show it to everyone. My girlfriend is resisting though. She doesn't want to see it just because we're always talking about it. How lame is that?
